Frequently Asked Questions
If your answer isn't here, ask info@gamershelpinggamers.org
I am already an undergraduate, but have some time left. Can I still apply?
We do accept applications from students currently enrolled in a college program. We consider a variety of factors when evaluating our applicants. While we may have a modest preference for applicants just starting college, this is only a minor component of how we view each application: other factors such as financial need and academic merit are considerably more important.
I am a graduate student. Can I apply?
Unfortunately, the Gamers Helping Gamers scholarship program is currently only for undergraduates. We may expand it in the future, but for now we are limiting our focus to this group.
Are unofficial transcripts acceptable?
We will review & consider applications which include unofficial transcripts, but official transcripts are strongly preferred.
Can I make a donation via check or other means?
Certainly! We are happy to accept contributions in various forms. Please contact us at info@gamershelpinggamers.org for details.
I am not from the US, or I am attending school outside the US. Can I still apply?
Currently, we can only accept application from US residents attending US-based schools, though we may expand in the future.
